Shift your work and Your life from
High-pressure to high-Powered.
Have you ever wiped the steam from your bathroom mirror, looked at your face and thought,
man…when did I start looking as uninspired as i feel?
You can remember when your drive to succeed was all the juice you needed to build an ideal life. You knew where you were going, what you needed to do to get there, and maybe even got a little endorphin rush from facing challenges head-on. Your definition of success was exactly that: winning out over the pressure. And you became a seasoned pro.
You turned the fruits of your labor into what, on paper, fit the “ideal life” resume–the one that everyone else looks at and says, “Now that’s someone who has it all.”
But really?
You feel as flat as the paper you built that impressive resume on. You’re living your own exhausting version of Groundhog’s day full of meetings, caffeine, carpools, and meals on the go. You do your best not to show it, but you’re wiped, and your life feels…honestly, kind of soul-sucking. The seed of worry that the rest of your life might only be some variation of this from now on is growing, making you restless.
You just keep thinking there’s more out there than this.
And fast on the coattails of that comes the guilt…
Your life is amazing!
You’re so lucky to have what you have!
Do you realize what people would give to be in your shoes?
Your expectations are just unrealistic.
Don’t be so selfish!
Well, That was me.
I was the driven high-achiever who followed all the “rules” of building a successful life, became a healthcare professional, then guilt-tripped myself for secretly feeling worn out and unsatisfied.
I’m morgan
…now, a certified coach.
As someone familiar with that soul-sucking feeling, I’m deeply invested in helping high-achievers and healthcare professionals like you shift your personal and professional life from being an answer to pressure to being one of power …so that you can live from an inspired place of energy and wholeness.
What would it be like…
To drive to work in the mornings feeling light and relaxed?
To have options that get you excited when it comes to deciding what’s next for you in life?
To make an impact that really feels like it matters?
To have plenty of time to be with the people you love, do the things you want to do, and recharge guilt-free?
To love BEING in your life more than just doing what you feel you have to?
That’s how it is for me now
But I remember when it wasn’t…
In the early 2000’s, I was a star student with a knack for achievement. Right out of college, I went to dental school, graduated near the top of my class, then did two more years of specialty training in orthodontics. I married a fantastic man and started having kids in the midst of all of that, and by the time I opened my own orthodontic practice at the age of 28, I’d pretty much buttoned up a happily-ever-after life.
I’d “made it.” Only it didn’t really feel like I thought it would.
I was overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time. While my life was FULL of so many great things, I felt kind of empty. I wasn’t passionate about my job and hated running my own office. My home life consisted of taking care of everyone else but myself. My energy was zapped. I felt…itchy for something. But I didn’t know what.
After a personal health crisis in 2017,
I suddenly got it—on a visceral level: I only have this one shot. Did I really want to curate my life solely to meet external demands? Or honor it by feeling good in it? I chose the latter, starting with taking better care of myself physically.
Pretty quickly, the other dominos began to fall…
As I gained more energy, so did some questions I hadn’t realized were asleep inside me:
How do I want to BE in my life? (Stressed out, exhausted, and moody? No thanks.)
What kind of impact do I want to have? (I knew I had something more valuable to give than I was giving).
Through a series of events, I sold my practice and dropped to part-time work as an associate. Even though I didn’t know what my next step was going to be (scary as hell), I had space to be honest with myself about what really gets my juices flowing.
I knew I wanted to serve people in a powerful way by using the skills inherent to my nature: listening, intuition, and curiosity. It’s a skill set that, as I leaned into it, changed the relationships in my life for the better. And eventually, it’s also one that led me to a career in coaching.
I became a certified coach through Chopra Health in 2022 and I have successfully completed 104 hours of training under the Co-Active model, the accredited gold standard of education in the coaching world, for which I plan to earn my CPCC certification in 2025.
These days, I still straighten teeth part-time. I still love my big, busy family. But I’m awake with the work I do in my coaching practice. I know first-hand the unique power of good coaching, which is why I’m so deeply invested in the process with my clients.
Now I’m passionate about helping clients design a life that syncs with what really matters to them—so that they can stop hustling for a life that merely withstands the pressure and be in one that really feels powerful.
